Earth

the earth collection focuses on local, seasonal flowers/plants and water in clear apothecary glass
... no floral foam.

all natural and sustainable accents can include such elements as walnut slabs, acacia wood and birch.

while we are already environmentally responsible in our design and work ethic, this is our most eco-friendly collection ... a choice you can feel extra good about!

think local, clear, natural ... green!

Earth

Al Fresco at The Good Earth Food and Wine Co.

In September we spent three days producing a suite of five different 'scenes' to inspire and excite you about all the dreamy possibilities for your wedding ... we're over the moon to finally be able to share them with you!

This al fresco dining scene shot on location at The Good Earth Food and Wine Co. features our wonderful 'Forest' colour palette teamed up with elements from our 'Earth' collection.

We focused on local, seasonal flowers including delphiniums, dahlias, astilbe, hydrangea, Queen Anne's lace, camomile and grasses displayed in some of our apothecary glassware.

We love, love, love our model's polka dot dress ... so fun and flirty!

Dana + Anthony’s Wedding at The Granite Club in Toronto

This weekend we assembled the Team and hit the road for a chance to work with coordinator Machel Reeves again and stage the flowers for Dana + Anthony's wedding reception at Toronto's famous Granite Club (sidebar ... The Granite Club is one of Toronto's oldest and largest private athletic country clubs ... stunning interior spaces replete with art gallery!).

To achieve Dana + Anthony's 'look', we worked with a bold palette of pink, magenta and deep raspberry mokara orchids and garden roses offset with antique green and crisp snow-white hydrangeas. These mono-botanical arrangements still managed to maintain a really soft feel to them ... even with all the squeaky clean glass and symmetrical lines.

Our best wishes go out to Dana + Anthony ... cheers to love, life and wedded bliss!!!

We designed two bouquets for our bride Dana ... one was more soft blush pinks the other was bold and beautiful hues of deep pink and magenta. She loved them both! In the end, Dana opted to carry the bold and beautiful bouquet down the aisle ... coordinator Machel texted us from the ceremony to give us the scoop!!!

The Grand Ballroom at The Granite Club is a large space with high ceilings ... the height of these centerpieces helps to make the space more intimate and 'bring the ceiling down', as it were.

Meaghan + John at Queen’s Landing in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Meaghan + John currently reside in Boston and made Niagara-on-the-Lake their destination wedding location this past weekend!

After tying the knot at St. Vincent de Paul on Queen's Parade in lovely downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, Meaghan + John invited their guests to celebrate with them in the Grand Georgian Ballroom at Queen's Landing just around the corner! The two venues are so close, the bulk of the guests simply walked the one block in the shade of the beautiful overhead tree canopy!

For Meaghan + John's reception, we designed natural, elegant romantic tablescapes that were full and flowery. The room was loaded with peonies, viburnum, bells of Ireland, white and green hydrangeas, snapdragons, delphiniums and other green and white gardeny flowers. The traditional round table setup was bypassed in favour of long mission-style tables, oversized mirrors and gorgeous green-on-green linens which tied everything together just perfectly!

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church played host to the couple's nuptials ... a very interesting 'starry night' painting on the domed cathedral ceiling above the altar.

For the wedding reception, we created 'tablescapes' using glass and mono-botanical florals giving a stately, clean and elegant feel to the room!
