Rubina + Andrew were married in a vineyard in the heart of Niagara's bountiful wine country and then celebrated with their guests in the magnificent 'hidden gem' at Inn on the Twenty formally known as the Vintner's Cellar!
Loads of beauty that featured a long communal table for 50, bunches and bunches of mokara orchids, red garden roses, dahlias and a virtual floatilla of rose petals all under the auspices of the dramatically romantic tones of our Passion pallet ... rich red, deep burgundy and midnight black!!!
We so loved being a part of this intimate affair!

Raewyn + Charlie's wedding was held on her family's private horse farm at the base of the Blue Mountains on a perfect early summer day in June!
We had soooo much fun working with Crystal (Distinct Occasions) and Paras (Design 2 Decor) to put together this elegant and organic feeling landscape-inspired gem!!!
If pictures are worth a thousand words, than film must be worth milllions ... check out this cinematic work of art by James Frodyma Wedding Films!

This weekend, we travelled up to the little hamblet of Alton, Ontario to design the florals and some decor elements for Megan + Cameron's wedding at the super awesome Alton Mill Arts Centre!
We were really excited to work with Kate from The Little White Dress and a bunch of friends we've met in last year ... like Selena from Hazlitt Vintage Rentals and Ida from Cake Museum!
To achieve a "Spring Harvest" vibe, we employed a variety of in-season and some locally grown flowers like peonies, dahlias, zinnias, clematis vine, safflower, gloriosa, purple hydrangeas and various garden fare (from our Studio's own organic cutting garden, of course!) such as lavender and mint foliages.
We'd describe it as relaxed, fresh, springy, heirloom, vintage and artsy!

We were working with a very bold colour palette ... tangerine, light orange, red, purple, butter and mellow yellow with light stone grey/lavender as a base and accidental green foliages. As you can see, against the printed wedding stationery, it really was a stunning match!

The outdoor reception space was set up in communal-style guest tables and our centrepieces featured a variety of full floral pieces in cement vessels, single blooms in vintage glass jars and a variety of 'fernscapes' (betcha never heard that one before!!!) intermingled with hundreds of candle-lit antique Mason jars.
The atmosphere was simply sublime!

Central to the space, we created a magnificent 12ft tall 'twiggy tree' absolutely dripping with curly willow, foliages and flowers! The trimming on the tree came in the form of hanging glass candle-lit lanterns and dozens of Monarch butterflies (to help complete the Spring Harvest theme!). The finished tree looked like it had been growing and blooming there for years and years!!!
There were loads of interesting textural elements as well ... cork, mason jars with votives, moss, ferns, rocks and branches ...

Various vintage details worked so well with the space and theme (we affectionately refer to the outdoor reception space as The Ruins!).

Congratulations again Megan + Cameron ... it was a pleasure to design the flowers for your beautiful wedding!!

As you know, we're quite fond of design weddings at Vineland Estates Winery ... it's just one of those gorgeous, intimate Niagara winery properties that we simply cannot get enough of!!!
This weekend, Kathryn + Jeremy were married on the north deck at Vineland Estates and broke bread with their guests afterward, dining together over a superb multi-course dinner in The Carriage House prepared by Executive Chef Justin Downes.
We were pretty excited to design the rough-luxe centrepieces for their reception! (see below for a complete description!)
It poured rain all morning, but cleared up beautifully just in time for Kathryn + Jeremy to tie the knot ... we're so happy to have been part of their Big Day!!

To achieve the 'rough-luxe' look for these centrepieces, we started with a piece of flagstone (yes, a rock!) and built up around the trinity of glass and floating candles using cream and natural coloured florals, miniature ferns, moss and cuttings (from our Studio's organic cutting gardens) such Japanese painted fern, herbs (mint and oregano), Lady's Mantle and scented geranium!

Blessings to Kathryn + Jeremy as they begin their marriage journey ... they certainly kicked it off in style!!

If you've been following us for a while, you know that we absolutely love colour ... so we were pretty excited to take full advantage of a palette featuring shades of purple, magenta, orchid and blush tones for Ruby + Ty's Niagara-on-the-Lake wedding at Queen's Landing.
We employed very seasonal flowers such as tulips and muscari and combined them with lushious english garden roses, super-stunning Vanda orchids and loads of mokara orchid sprays ... just dripping with beauty!

Ruby was all smiles ... it was contagious! She looked oh-so fabulous ...

The reception centerpieces were half tall full-florals perched a top a glistening glass vase and half short full-florals flanked by twin glass candlesticks.

Ruby + Ty ... we wish you every blessing in your marriage journey ... it was such a pleasure to design the flowers for your wedding day!!!
