15 of our favourite bridal bouquets ... part 2
A couple of weeks ago, we started our look back at some of the best moments of the last year's wedding season! Here's part 2 in the series of our favourite bridal bouquets from 2011 ... enjoy!
Bold + Beautiful Bouquet ...
We absolutely love colour ... for Chloe + Herbert's wedding we really punched it up a notch and took full advantage of a palette featuring intense shades of cobalt blue, magenta, deep pink, deep purple and fucshia tones.

Flirty + Fragrant Bridal Bouquet ...
The dreamy tones of our 'Glow' palette featuring soft yellow, ivory and cognac set the mood for this wedding, while the garden roses, white hydrangeas, tulips, heaven-scented lily of the valley and peonies did all the heavy lifting design wise!

Noel's hat pin from his days in the Canadian military provided the emblem detailing on Jennifer's soft yellow bridal bouquet! Check out the cute bouquet 'collar' ruffles ...

Organic + Textural Bride's Bouquet ...
We were excited to design the organic, texture-laden, earthy and informal flowers for this wedding. The colour palette followed shades of medium pink, silver/grey, white, deep taupe and blush.
We brought in so much texture by using curly willow, hydrangeas, garden roses, calla lilies, orchids, celosia, dusty miller, air plants, pink protea and Hens 'n Chicks (fresh picked from our studio cutting garden!!!).
Pretty in pink ... love, love, love the Hens 'n Chicks in there!!!

Purple Bride's Bouquet ...
Purple was still a huge colour in 2011 ... this wedding featured hues from our 'Breeze' colour palette ... mainly purple with acents of green and white/cream and a touch of butter.
Flowers we designed with included green and white hydrangeas, stunning purple Vanda orchid blooms, dahlias, roses and pieris. Quirky elements included cork logs, Manzanita branches, giant slabs of walnut and canning jars with oodles of glass candlelight!

The Jonathan Adler Inspired Bouquet ...
In the last summer of 2011 we worked with Cynthia Martyn Events Inc. to put together a wedding day design inspired by a favoured designer (Cynthia chose famed housewares and accessories designer Jonathan Adler as her muse)
The feature appears in the Winter/Spring 2012 issue of WedLuxe Magazine ... pages 68 - 70.
