Lucy + Paul married in Oakville

Congratulations to Lucy + Paul who were wed this weekend in an afternoon outdoor wedding ceremony in Oakville. It was a blisteringly hot day out ... there was not a cloud in the sky! A perfect summer day in July.

We were excited to design the organic, texture-laden, earthy and informal flowers for the ceremony and reception.  The colour palette followed shades of medium pink, silver/grey, white, deep taupe and blush.

We brought in so much texture by using Manzanita branches, curly willow, hydrangeas, garden roses, calla lilies, orchids, celosia, dusty miller, air plants, pink protea and Hens 'n Chicks (fresh picked from our studio cutting garden!!!).

Lucy's bridal bouquet ... pretty in pink ... love, love, love the Hens 'n Chicks in there!!!

The centrepieces were a mix of tall and short full-floral pieces with our signature glass candlesticks and ivory pillar candles.

What You're Saying

Hi Jennifer Just got back from our honeymoon & saw the Mimosa site. The wedding florals were beautiful & elegant and reflected the lovely day. I believe a trend has started by using the "succulents" in the wedding floral arrangements as I noticed you used them in an other wedding following ours!!!
