We're so excited to finally share the latest film project we've just finished ... we call it 'Made with Love' !!!
While we were dreaming this all up, we became focused on some specific words and phrases such as ... 'local', 'heirloom', 'hand-made', 'authentic', 'community', 'nature', 'living in the moment' ... we followed our heart and really let these words become our mantra to guide us through this project.
Be sure to check out the Made with Love Project photos as well.

On most creative projects like this one, many, many hours are spent crafting a space to perfection so as to be pristinely captured for publication and then, quicker than it went up, it's all torn down and packed away and everyone runs back to their busy lives! There's something that just feels wrong about that ... so, this time around, we felt it was really important that those involved get to enjoy the fruits of our labour and share the joy of the moment! So, at the end of day with all of our hard work behind us, we invited a few friends to join us as we sat down for dinner + drinks!
At it's heart, Made with Love is a story about beauty, friendship, connection and kindred spirits ... it's a story that is about more than just a theme or colour scheme ... it’s about more than a schedule of events or formalities and pretense.
Certainly it's about engaging the senses and creating a setting full of discovery and beauty ... but it’s also about all of the little details that have a way of bringing people closer together to celebrate our togetherness!
This story was Made with Love and the creative gifts of a few good friends ...

The Carriage House at Vineland Estates Winery was the absolute perfect space to spill our creative juices ... have we ever told you how much we love, love, love Vineland Estates Winery??
We've probably mentioned it ...

Chef Justin created the most delish menu for our dinner ...
• Seared Lake Erie Pickerel, Sous Vide Peaches, Icewine & White Peach Puree
• Mini Cumbrae Sirloin Burger, Caramelized Onion, Grilled Peach, Double Smoked Bacon
• Roasted Peach Tart, Upper Canada Ricotta, Nectarine Sorbet, Niagara Peach Salsa

The talented duo of ladies at Vineyard Sweets perfectly captured the 'Made with Love' essence ... all the intricated and delicate made-from-scratch details!

Dinner with friends on an early autumn night in Niagara's wine country ... is there anything finer?

Sarah + Daniel tied the knot in a late afternoon outdoor wedding ceremony on the Terrace at Legends on the Niagara. Cocktails immediately followed the ceremony and later in the evening, guests enjoyed an evening dinner reception with the newlyweds!
Sarah's floral colour palette featured a mix of our Glow and Bliss palettes in shades of yellow, buttercup and cream with accents of peach, blush and salmon particularly evident in the bridesmaid's bouquets and dresses.
We designed using some dazzling yellow garden roses, yellow craspedia, white orchids and hydrangeas, dahlias, delicate cammomile, gloriosa blooms and oodles of gardeny bits such as mint and raspberry foliage from our organic cutting gardens here at the studio!

These custom-built Twiggy lantern 'street lights' made of birch poles looked absolutely awesome with the natural stone and wood elements in the room and on the terrace at Legends!

The wood cut-out Bride + Groom was sourced on Etsy ... bride Sarah sent in a photo which was turned into a sketch and hand-crafted into the cupcake topper!!

We wish Sarah + Daniel a blessed start to their marriage journey ... it was an honour to have had a part in making your big day so special!!

In September we spent three days producing a suite of five different 'scenes' to inspire and excite you about all the dreamy possibilities for your wedding ... we're over the moon to finally be able to share them with you!
For this outdoor scene, we first selected The Good Earth Food and Wine Co. as our location because we love it so much! Then we paired 'Bliss', (one of our all-time fave colour palettes!) with 'Twiggy' (one of our newest collections) and voila ... absolute perfection!
Twiggy inspired elements include our fabulous cork logs, the coca-cola coloured bubbled glass and funky wooden acacia balls. Florals include garden roses, orchids, dahlias, hydrangea, red skimmia and pink pepperberries.
We're so in love with the modern vintage flair of these pictures!

We're back from the sunny south and happy to be sharing the next installment in our 'Best Wedding Bouquets of 2010 blog series!
We hope that you're enjoying this recap as much as we are ... it's fun for us to look back and have a little surprise memory of a beautiful wedding that we were lucky to be a part of.
We're feverishly booking for 2011 and still have enough room left for you!
So, drop us an email ... we'd just love to hear from you!
For Kristin + Ryan's wedding, we were excited again to work at two of our favourite venues ... Queen's Landing and St. Mark's Anglican Church. Two amazing venues for an equally amazing couple!! We were working some fantastic late summer blooms to pull off a sophisticated, yet romantic and classic feel ...

The coordinating bridesmaid's bouquets ...

We simply adore St. Mark's Church ... this beautiful old-stone church dates back over 200 years ... a lot of history here. Not just a history of religion or love ... but of the founding of Canada!

We hope Ryan doesn't mind us posting this pic of him holding Kristin's bouquet ... he was busy assisting her into the car and walked off with her bouquet ... so cute!
Melissa + Matt's Niagara nuptials took place among the beautiful vineyards of the Beamsville Bench in the Cave Spring Vineyard Retreat ... the always lovely 'Glow' was the colour palette du jour! This closeup of the bride's bouquet gives you a good idea of the colour palette we were working with ... soft and mellow yellows, ivory and champagne!

The girls looked amazing in their pewter dresses and cobalt blue shoes!

Sarah + Sumit celebrated their nuptials outdoors in Niagara's wine country at The Good Earth Food and Wine Co. in Lincoln. If you're a regular reader of the blog, you already know how much we love The Good Earth ... a little slice of heaven on earth! The colour palette ... rich reds, deep burgundies, passionate pinks ... lovin' it!

The matching bridesmaid's bouquet ... also very yummy!

Carolyn + Mike's Niagara on the Lake wedding celebration was held at the Pillar and Post, with the wedding ceremony taking place upstairs in The Gallery room followed by cocktails and a lovely dinner reception downstairs in the Upper Canada room. We love the rustic charm of this warm and inviting property nestled right in the heart the village, just a couple of steps off the beaten path The purple Vanda orchids and Schwarzwalder callas in Carolyn's bouquet were unbelievable!

We designed a few different bouquets for the bridesmaids ...
