Michelle + Shawn tied the knot in an afternoon wedding ceremony in the Atrium at Queen's Landing in lovely downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake! Later on, guests were invited back for evening cocktails and to celebrate with them in the Imperial Ballroom over dinner!
Deep purple, rose, champagne, burgundy and muted magenta were all in the colour palette for the day. A very modern vintage theme featuring classic glassware and pewter accents such as our hammered-rim votive holders, pewter linens and silver chiavari chairs.
Blooms included purple vandas, dazzling dahilias, roses, picasso callas, white and antique green hydrangeas, curly willow and toad lily plucked straight from our studio's organic cutting gardens!

The centrepieces at the reception in the Imperial Ballroom featured our classic glassware with a full floral arrangement at the top. Soft and romantic ... with few purple vanda orchids submersed in water and pewter rimmed votive candles at the base of each. Pewter linens and chiavari chairs by Simply Beautiful Décor.
A half-dozen of our twiggy lanterns were positioned around the Imperial Ballroom to add to the vintage charm ...

We so looove intimate Niagara winery weddings ... it seems that we get to do quite a few in the fall season!
Vineland Estates Winery is one of the most beautiful intimate winery wedding venues in Niagara and it always feels like coming home when we get to work there. It's great to see Diane and the crew ... we've got a great history of designing/hosting the most beautiful weddings together!
Christal + Ki were married in an outdoor wedding ceremony on the deck overlooking the vineyards with the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario in the distance ... breathtakingly beautiful! After the ceremony, their guests were invited on a wine tour and then back to the Carriage House for dinner where a beautiful tablescape in the centre of the room was awaiting them!
This wedding featured hues from our 'Breeze' colour palette ... mainly purple with acents of green and white/cream and a touch of butter.
Flowers we designed with included green and white hydrangeas, stunning purple Vanda orchid blooms, dahlias, roses and pieris. Quirky elements included cork logs, Manzanita branches, giant slabs of walnut and canning jars with oodles of glass candlelight!

Cute and romantic floral pomander balls on the front doors of the Vineland Estates Carriage House ...
This tablescape in the Carriage House features loads of flowers, romantic candlelight, textural elements (such as wood slabs and cork logs) and the gleam of pristine glass (Mason jars and our signature glass candlesticks).
Would loooooved to have stayed for dinner ... :)

Heather + Mike's Niagara winery wedding took place at the historic Saint Mary of the Assumption Church just a few kilometers from Hernder Estate Winery where they later invited their guests to an evening of wine, food and fun!
For Heather + Mike's reception, we designed a mix of tall and low elegant romantic centrepieces that were full and flowery featuring shades of deep purple, grape, vibrant green, white and light purple in our Breeze palette. The room was loaded with green and white hydrangeas, cymbids, purple roses, deep purple vanda orchids ...
Heather's gorgeous bridal bouquet … mulled purple and white featuring Picasso callas and lady slipper and cymbidium orchids.
The altar flowers at the ceremony featured lots of hydrangeas accented with green amaranthus, bear grass, roses and autumn flowering clematis from our studio's own organic cutting gardens!
We designed a mix of tall and low elegant and romantic centrepieces and added plenty of warm candlelight ...

It feels like the weather has changed and fall is soon headed to Niagara ... it's our favourite time of year!
One of the beautiful places we get to work at often this time of year is the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Vineland Estates Winery! That's where Laura + Jeff celebrated their wedding this weekend ... lucky ducks!
Laura's colour palette featured 'Breeze' in shades of purple, magenta, lavender, deep cranberry, sage and ivory.
Our best wishes go out to Laura + Jeff ... cheers to love, life and wedded bliss!!!
Did we mention that we love, love, love Vineland Estates Winery weddings?
We created one long tablescape of flowers for Laura + Jeff and their guests ... featuring hydrangeas, roses, dahlias, mint, raspberry foliage and even some red grapes!

Sarah + Adam's Niagara wine country wedding was celebrated at the Cave Spring Vineyard, where they were married in an outdoor wedding ceremony at the base of the Niagara Escarpment. Cocktails and an evening dinner reception followed at the always lovely Inn on the Twenty on Main St. in quaint Jordan Village ... absolutely perfect this time of the year!
The colour palette for the big day featured 'Breeze' in deep purple with hits of fresh green. We used white macrophylla hydrangeas, purple vanda orchids, schwarzwalder calla and cymbidium orchids, as well as annabelle hydrangea and sedum freshly plucked from our studio's organic cutting gardens!
Hard not to love the deep purple throats of the calla's in Sara's bridal bouquet ...
The full floral centrepieces for the reception in the Windows Room showcased some amazingly intense purple Vanda orchids which were offset nicely by the bright green in the annabelle hydrangea and floating candles!
We wish Sarah + Adam much happiness at the start of their marriage journey ... thanks for letting us share in your big day!!
