The 2011 Vintage Hotels Wedding Show was our first time out as Mimosa Flower Studio ... since recently changing our name and identity ... a coming out party, of sorts!
In truth, there were some nerves ... would colleagues and potential clients 'get it'? How would we be received as Mimosa Flower Studio? Would our hard work and creative efforts go unnoticed? Always there are questions ... we recognize that it's a big change.
And yet ... not so big a change.
In fact, this 'change' is really more of a metamorphosis ... a visual movement into the next natural state of being. We're still the same people behind the scenes ... it's really just the paint on the walls that's been updated.
At any rate, we were totally overwhelmed with the positive feedback and exciting comments of old and new colleagues and clients alike ... thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Here are a few photos of our booth at the show ... of course we used loads of Mimosa!!

Special thanks to Simply Beautiful Decor for the crazy awesome cobalt blue linens (we are so in love!) and white Chiavari chairs. Thanks also to Eda & Ruth at Vineyard Sweets for the yummy 'mimosa' cupcakes!

In September we spent three days producing a suite of five different 'scenes' to inspire and excite you about all the dreamy possibilities for your wedding ... we're over the moon to finally be able to share them with you!
For this 'High Tea' inspired scene, we're featuring the heavenly yellow hues of our 'Glow' palette and the sexy hourglass shapes and classic glass designs of our 'Perennial' collection.
Luscious blooms of yellow gloriosa, garden roses, dahlias, orchids, Queen Anne's lace, hydrangea and delicate camomile pair well with raspberry foliage and mint plucked from our organic cutting gardens.
We even brought out our antique white bone china tea set for the occasion!
