Here's the next installment in the 'Best Wedding Bouquets of 2010' album. This will be it for a few weeks ... we're taking a little time off. In the meantime, enjoy these love stories from our <i>'Best Wedding Bouquets of 2010</i> album! Turn up the thermostat ... baby, it's cold outside. Ciao for now!
Sara + Helena were married in an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony by the pond at the foot of the Niagara Escarpement in the Cave Spring Vineyards ... it was a perfect October afternoon in Niagara's wine country! We could help but fall in love with the texture of the flowers and the intensity of the jewel tones in this palette ... this bridal bouquet was unbelievable!!!

Jo-Anne + Sean sealed the deal in a late afternoon ceremony at the Cave Springs Vineyard Retreat and invited their guests to a dinner reception which followed at the lovely Windows Room upstairs at Inn on the Twenty on Main St. in Jordan. Jo-Anne's bridal bouquet ... ahhhh. We ALL loved this one ... Fire is definitely a favourite!

The bridemaid's bouquet ... loving this one a lot also!

Kim + Les celebrated their Niagara winery wedding ceremony and reception at the famed Chateau des Charmes Winery in Niagara on the Lake. Outdoor weddings in Niagara are always fantastic … but getting married out among the winery vineyards in full view of the Niagara Escarpment is truly a memorable experience unique to Niagara's wine country! The bride’s bouquet was hand-tied (as all our bouquets are!) in shades of purple, wrapped in saddle-stitched grosgrain ribbon and accented with our gold pin finish!

The matching bridesmaid's bouquets ... similar details in the finish!

Back in August, we designed the flowers for Kendra + Miles' destination wedding at Riverbend Inn & Vineyard in Niagara on the Lake! Kendra and Miles have Canadian roots, but both now call London, UK home. Kendra's bridal bouquet was hand-tied (as all our bouquets are!) and featured some of the most beautiful dahlias we've experienced in a long, long time!

More to come ...

Yeah, it rained a little bit this weekend, but it didn't damped spirits at all ... love was in the air!! Not to mention the gorgeous colours, smells and breezes of autumn in Niagara's wine country!
We only met Jo-Anne a few weeks ago ... but we totally 'clicked' right away! It was extremely fortunate that we had an opening in our schedule, because we so enjoyed designing the flowers for her marriage to Sean.
Jo-Anne + Sean sealed the deal in a late afternoon ceremony at the Cave Springs Vineyard Retreat and invited their guests to a dinner reception which followed at the lovely Windows Room upstairs at Inn on the Twenty on Main St. in Jordan.
The colour palette featured a very seasonal 'Fire' in mainly orange through yellow with hits of chocolate, burgundy, crimson and hues of bluey green. To accomplish the 'look and feel' we were after, we used florals such as orchids, BC hydrangeas, roses, dahlias, pink pepperberries and magnolia leaves. Definitely one of our favourite fall colour combinations!
Jo-Anne's bridal bouquet ... ahhhh. We ALL loved this one ... Fire is definitely a favourite!

The bridemaid's bouquet ... loving this one a lot also!

Jo-Anne + Sean were married in the Cave Spring Vineyard Retreat ... a cute little hideaway in the vineyards of the Beamsville Bench.

After the ceremony, guests were shuttle back to Jordan Village for a evening dinner reception at Inn on the Twenty ... upstairs in the Windows Room. The table centerpieces were a combination of a full floral piece flanked by twin glass candlesticks ... the mix of floral ingredients in each piece was similar, but each piece had it's own unique character. The hits of bluey-green really worked well in The Windows Room!

Our thanks to Mark for the 'day of' wedding stationery pieces!

Thanks so much Jo-Anne + Sean ... we really enjoyed doing 'our thing' for your big day!

Jennifer + Clayton celebrated their outdoor Niagara on the Lake wedding ceremony in the Rose Garden at the Pillar and Post Hotel. It was the most perfect day to be married outside … the colours are amazing and the temperature was just right!!! After the ceremony, their guests were invited to the Upper Canada Room for cocktails and an evening dinner reception.
The colour palette for the day was ‘Fire’ featuring shades of burgundy, red, rust, chocolate and cherry. To achieve Jennifer’s look, we designed with callas, roses, hydrangeas, sedum ‘Autumn Joy’ (from our own organic cutting garden!), orchids, magnolia and bare curly willow.
We absolutely love Niagara on the Lake weddings in autumn and this one was no exception!
The bride and bridesmaid's bouquets …

Jennifer + Clayton's wedding ceremony took place mid-afternoon in the Rose Garden at Pillar and Post ... just beautiful!

The girls looked gorgeous in their satin bordeaux knee length dresses!

The Upper Canada Room looked amazing all decked out in the tones of ‘Fire’.

Yes, those are cranberries ... how perfect, right?!?!

Thanks to Jennifer + Clayton for letting us share in their big day!

We absolutely love, love, love Niagara winery weddings … especially this time of year!
This weekend, Holly + Rodolfo were wed at Cave Spring Winery’s ‘Vineyard Retreat’ among the grape rows in the vineyard where some of Niagara’s best vintages begin! After their wedding ceremony, Holly + Rodolfo invited their guests to an evening dinner reception in the Vintner’s Cellar at the nearby Inn on the Twenty on Main St. in Jordan Village.
The colour palette for the day was ‘Fire’ featuring shades of cherry, rust, pumpkin, chocolate and saffron. To achieve Holly’s look, we designed with dahlias, roses, hydrangeas, orchids and mango callas.
The bride’s bouquet …

The bridesmaid's bouquet ...

The wedding ceremony was supposed to be in the vineyard, but was changed to the Retreat at the last minute because the weather was not cooperating!

We loved these Fire centerpieces!

There's this creepy / cool grotto in the Vintner's Cellar ... I think it used to be a cistern for the original winery back in the 1800's.

We designed a Wishing Tree out of Manzanita branches in glass.

Mark designed the stationery on the tables ...

It was wonderful to be a part of Holly + Rodolfo’s wedding celebration … cheers!

Erica + Demos celebrated their outdoor wedding in Niagara on the Lake at one of our favourite wedding reception venues in Niagara on the Lake… Riverbend Inn and Vineyard!
Erica’s colour palette was ‘Fire’ which included tones of mocha, chocolate, saffron and cherry with hits of peach, ivory and celery green. We designed this wedding using hydrangea, spray and garden roses, dahlias (a must at this time of year!), mango callas, magnolia and other bits of autumn goodness. We also raided our organic cutting garden for sedum ‘autumn joy’, peegee hydrangea and some raspberry foliage!
The feel could be described as ‘casual elegance’ … ethereal, romantic … a little off the beaten path!
Erica's gorgeous bride's bouquet …

Bridesmaid's bouquet …

The cutest little gazebo at the Riverbend in Niagara on the Lake … an awesome place for an outdoor wedding ceremony ... the view of the wineries and vineyards in the distance is spectacular!

The Fire colour palette looked perfect against the girls' chocolate dresses!

Here's the star of the show, our gorgeous bride Erica ... loving the texture on her dress!

After the ceremony, Erica + Demos hosted their guests to an outdoor dinner reception (under the tent, of course) at the crest of the vineyards overlooking the winery in the distance ... the sun setting slowly behind the graperows ... absolutely magical! Each of their centerpieces were distinct and presented in a slightly different vessel ... they matched the mood and character of the day to perfection!

We also provided the stationery for the day ... including the Seating Chart and Table ID Cards. Thanks to Mark for the design and printing.

Best wishes to Erica + Demos – thanks for letting us share in your big day!
