Ever since we debuted our new custom-fabricated artisan metal trees at The Wedding Co. Show in January, we've had an amazing response!
Just imagine exchanging your wedding vows under a couple of these jaw-dropping trees ... indoors or out ... they'd be absolutely magnificent!!! Or how about we use it to create a statement piece in the lobby, atrium, bar or lounge area of your event space ... they could be simply bare or absolutely loaded with foliage, branches or flowers of any colour ... it's also height adjustable!
For The Wedding Co. Show, we loaded this tree with nearly 300 stems of tangerine mokara orchids, hanging glass candle-lit lanterns and delicate handcrafted glass butterflies.
At the recent Vintage Hotels Wedding Show, we wanted to show a different way to use our trees ... so, we layered birch branches, camillia foliage and tangering mokara orchids to create an intimate canopy over a sweet-heart table for two!
Simple. Beautiful. Lovely.

We had the pleasure of designing the florals for Nicole + Jonathan's wedding this past weekend. Nicole worked for Mimosa for a few summers back in her high school days ... so it was fun twist to now be designing flowers for her big day!!!
Summer has hit Southern Ontario with a vengeance this year and it was a scorcher on Saturday with humidex temperatures climbing to nearly 40C (that's nearly 105F for our American friends!) ... and the sky hasn't produced a drop of rain in weeks and weeks!!! Perfect timing for this refreshing and cool yellow, grey, white and fresh green color palette!!
Nicole's flowers included white macrophylla hydrangea, yellow craspedia, yellow garden roses and grey foliages such as lamb's ear ... plus all kinds of seasonal pickin's from our organic cutting garden ... like mint, delicate cilantro blooms, variegated hosta leaves and the last of the lady's mantle blooms. We added loads of texture and interest by using lemons, funky succulents and poppy pods!
Above: Nicole's bridal bouquet in yellow and fresh green with a lacey grey detailing on the stem.
Below: The bridemaids each carried unique bouquets in the same palette ...
We love the texture in these centerpieces!!
Table centrepieces consisted of a mix of full florals and floral wreaths around a low glass pedestal with floating candles ...

Christine + David's yummy yellow and grey themed wedding took place under the tent at Chateau des Charmes Winery in Niagara on the Lake this holiday long weekend! What a beautiful day it was to celebrate Niagara nuptials ... love was in the air and not humidity!!
The colour palette of the flowers was yellow with hits of lime green and the punch was provided by the pewtery grey linens and black chair covers ... mod glamour with a rustic touch!
These Gardenias in Christine's bouquet smelled amazing! They're so dainty and delicate ...
The tall centerpieces ... mix of birch branches and full florals ... helped scale the size of the tent and bring some weight to the reception space!
Our congratulations to Christine + David … thanks for choosing us to be a part of making your Niagara wedding celebration memorable!

Melissa + Matt's Niagara nuptials took place among the beautiful vineyards of the Beamsville Bench in the Cave Spring Vineyard Retreat ... a thunderstorm threatened to soak the guests in the Vineyard right at ceremony time, so it was quickly moved indoors!
The always lovely 'Glow' was the colour palette du jour! For Melissa + Matt's flowers, we focused particularly on shades of yellow and ivory that were accented with grey and cobalt blue in the girl's dresses, shoes and accessories. We used words like round, tidy, fresh, vintage, modern, simple to describe the look and feel we were aiming for.
To achieve Melissa's look, we incorporated hydrangeas, gerberas, garden roses, spray roses, looped curly willow and funky craspedia blooms into the bouquets and centerpieces.
This closeup of the bride's bouquet gives you a good idea of the colour palette we were working with ... soft and mellow yellows, ivory and champagne!
The soft yellow bride's and bridesmaids bouquets ...yummy garden roses and the yellow 'pokey' balls are called craspedia ... I know you wanted to know!
The ceremony was quickly moved into the Vineyard Retreat due to the impending clouds of doom that quickly descended on the vineyard about 20 minutes before the ceremony!
This young lady took her job as flower girl very seriously ... she had the right idea with the fan ... it was stinkin' hot!
The girls looked amazing in their pewter dresses and cobalt blue shoes!
The centrepieces sat perfectly on the pewter runners ... yellow looks so good in The Windows Room at Inn on the Twenty!
Details, details ... it's all about the details!
Congratulations again Melissa + Matt ... it was a pleasure to design the flowers for your beautiful wedding!
