All week long, we had beautiful weather in Niagara's wine country ... finally!!! And then, suddenly, the weather gods were again displeased for some reason and sent us rain on wedding Saturday!!! In some ways, rain is good ... it certainly makes for a better party because the guests seem to stick closer together, as if bound by nature!
In spite of the weather ups and downs, Erinn + Matt's wedding marched on and it was a wonderful affair! After celebrating their marriage ceremony at the Cave Spring Vineyard Retreat, guests were invited back to The Windows Room at Inn on the Twenty on Main Street in Jordan Village to wine and dine the night away.
Erinn's color palette was 'Forest' featuring shots of caramel and butter with accidental indigo, deep pink and mango tones and loads of texture.
To accomplish the 'look and feel', we designed with green mums, garden roses, viburnum, hydrangea, cobra lilies and gardeny bits (from our Studio's organic cutting gardens!) including mint, heuchera and japanese painted fern.
Congratulations and best wishes to Erinn + Matt ... we loved being part of your wedding day!!!

How we love the cute raspberries tucked in this bridesmaid's bouquet!

Erinn + Matt ... after just having tied the knot, exit the Vineyard Retreat and the sun comes out ... on cue!! Matt's expression says it all.

Erinn + Matt did such a great job on their stationery, we just had to show it to you! It's the attention to the details (like stationery) that can really tie the whole day together!

This past weekend, Agnes + Geoff celebrated their Niagara wedding in Jordan Village. After the wedding ceremony at the local United Church, their guests were invited to the Windows Room at Inn on the Twenty for cocktails and an evening dinner reception.
The colour palette for the day was ‘Spirit’ featuring shades of cranberry, raspberry with blush and shots of white. We were going for a contemporary yet vintage feel with romantic blooms such as garden roses, hydrangeas, orchids, freesia and peonies.
Spring finally 'sprung' last week and Jordan Village was looking and smelling amazing in full bloom ...

Oh how we love autumn weddings in Niagara's wine country ... we're so lucky to live and work here! Fall is definitely our favourite time of the year for weddings ... the intensity of colours ... the smell of plump grapes waiting to be harvested ... there's nothing like it!
This weekend, we designed the flowers for Julia + David's vineyard wedding ceremony and their dinner reception which followed at the lovely Inn on the Twenty on Main St. in Jordan.
We were working with very 'modern vintage' palette featuring muted and antique shades of lavender and purple, muted mulberry, blush, blue, tan and sage green. To accomplish this very relaxed and assorted look, we used fluffy flowers like dahlias and antique green hydrangeas, as well as seeded eucalyptus and all sorts of gardeny goodness!!
The lacy detailing on Julia's bridal bouquet is the perfect tell-tale sign of the 'modern vintage' feel we were going for ...

The bridesmaid's bouquets were little more bold ... they were certainly feeling a little playful just moments before gliding down the aisle!

Julia + David's outdoor wedding ceremony took place in the middle of the Cave Spring Winery vineyards on 'the bench' in Beamsville ...

Guests were invited to an evening dinner reception in The Windows Room at Inn on the Twenty ... in keeping with the 'modern vintage' feel, we used a mix of tall Mason Jars and rustic earthenware vessels for the table centrepieces!

Congratulations and best wishes to Julia + David!
