Jennifer + Chris at Prince of Wales in Niagara-on-the-Lake
Jennifer + Chris win this year's 'Longest Distance' award ... travelling to our little corner of the world all the way from Australia for their destination wedding!
Usually when we work with distance couples, there is generally some sort of family tie to the greater Niagara area, but in this case, Jennifer + Chris simply fell in love with the idea of getting married in Niagara on the Lake!! It turns out Jennifer's family had taken a recent trip to the area and when it came time for their wedding to be planned, Niagara on the Lake became the perfect destination wedding locale for this Ozzy couple!
Jennifer and Chris' wedding took place at St. Ilja Macedonia Orthodox Church in Mississauga with their dinner reception following in the Victoria and Albert Rooms at the lovely Prince of Wales Hotel in 'downtown' Niagara-on-the-Lake! It's been a while since we've worked at the 'Prince' ... what a gorgeous period property!
Today's colour palette was Charm featuring warm shades of mocha, ivory and white with soft touches of warm blush. A very modern vintage palette ... truly 'charming'!
Jennifer's bridal bouquet was very soft and romantic ... but we spiced it up a bit with some seasonally appropriate berries!

The co-ordinating bridemaid's bouquets ...

The wedding ceremony was traditional Macedonian Orthodox ... very symbolically and culturally rich!

The guest tables featured earth-friendly full floral centerpieces in glass ... along with some harvested tidbits from studio's late autumn garden!

Congrats and best wishes to our new Australian friends Jennifer + Chris ... thanks for letting us share in your big day!
