We're so excited to finally share the latest film project we've just finished ... we call it 'Made with Love' !!!
While we were dreaming this all up, we became focused on some specific words and phrases such as ... 'local', 'heirloom', 'hand-made', 'authentic', 'community', 'nature', 'living in the moment' ... we followed our heart and really let these words become our mantra to guide us through this project.
Be sure to check out the Made with Love Project photos as well.

On most creative projects like this one, many, many hours are spent crafting a space to perfection so as to be pristinely captured for publication and then, quicker than it went up, it's all torn down and packed away and everyone runs back to their busy lives! There's something that just feels wrong about that ... so, this time around, we felt it was really important that those involved get to enjoy the fruits of our labour and share the joy of the moment! So, at the end of day with all of our hard work behind us, we invited a few friends to join us as we sat down for dinner + drinks!
At it's heart, Made with Love is a story about beauty, friendship, connection and kindred spirits ... it's a story that is about more than just a theme or colour scheme ... it’s about more than a schedule of events or formalities and pretense.
Certainly it's about engaging the senses and creating a setting full of discovery and beauty ... but it’s also about all of the little details that have a way of bringing people closer together to celebrate our togetherness!
This story was Made with Love and the creative gifts of a few good friends ...

The Carriage House at Vineland Estates Winery was the absolute perfect space to spill our creative juices ... have we ever told you how much we love, love, love Vineland Estates Winery??
We've probably mentioned it ...

Chef Justin created the most delish menu for our dinner ...
• Seared Lake Erie Pickerel, Sous Vide Peaches, Icewine & White Peach Puree
• Mini Cumbrae Sirloin Burger, Caramelized Onion, Grilled Peach, Double Smoked Bacon
• Roasted Peach Tart, Upper Canada Ricotta, Nectarine Sorbet, Niagara Peach Salsa

The talented duo of ladies at Vineyard Sweets perfectly captured the 'Made with Love' essence ... all the intricated and delicate made-from-scratch details!

Dinner with friends on an early autumn night in Niagara's wine country ... is there anything finer?

Every once in a while we have to take a step back and realize how lucky we are to live and work in Niagara ... it's easy to miss the beauty around you when you see it daily.
One of the beautiful places we get to work at often this time of year is the dizzyingly gorgeous Vineland Estates Winery! That's where Heather + Colin were married this weekend ... lucky ducks!
Heather's colour palette featured mulled purple, champagne and silver ... just like our 'Breeze' palette. Her dress was knock-you-out amazing ... check out the pics below!!!
Our best wishes go out to Heather + Colin ... cheers to love, life and wedded bliss!!!
Heather's bridal bouquet was a perfect match for her silver wedding dress ... don't you just love the dress! Brilliant.

... and the lovely little coordinating bridesmaids bouquet ... another perfect match!! Love it!!!

I know we've gone on and on about the general awesomeness of Vineland Estates ... here are some drool inducing pics to back up all our talk!

The Carriage House usually plays double duty ... wedding ceremony first, followed by a wine tour and tasting while staff quickly transform the space for the dinner reception when the guests return! It's quite a brilliant setup, really.

Melissa + Keith were married in an intimate Niagara wedding ceremony in the Carriage House at the stunningly gorgeous Vineland Estates Winery this past Thanksgiving weekend.
After the ceremony, their guests were treated to a winery tour and tasting followed by an exquisite five course dinner ... one of the best views of Niagara's vineyards (with Lake Ontario in the distance) can be had from this Niagara wedding venue!
Melissa's color palette focused on hues of white, light purple, lavender and green with some 'accidental' pink thrown in. For a deliberate and clean look with a touch of whimsy, we used white orchids, green cymbids, green hypericum berries, white mini callas, light purple lisianthus, purple mokaras, white hydrangeas, sterling roses, looped foliage and curly willow. There were also lots of 'gardeny' bits from our studio organic cutting garden ... such as raspberry foliage, catmint and toad lilies (which were in perfect bloom this week!!).
Cheers and best wishes to Melissa + Keith ... it was a pleasure to be part of your special day!

Melissa and her attendants looked simply gorgeous ... so beautiful!

We designed these two large altar arrangements to flank the ceremony space ... when the Carriage House was flipped for the reception, we reused them around the head table!

We custom designed each centerpiece and wrapped the custom container in birch bark ...
